Quick answer
Is JapanProxies working right now?
JapanProxies tracks five systems: the proxy gateway, the client area, checkout, crypto payment confirmations and the mobile rotation API. Live status will be shown in the client area at /app/. The incident log starts on the day the service goes live, and no incident has been recorded. If something fails, email [email protected] with the time, the country code and the error.
What do we monitor?
| System | What it does |
|---|---|
| Proxy gateway | gw.japanproxies.com, ports 7777 and 7778: carries your traffic to exit IPs |
| Client area | Credentials, usage, plans and top-ups at /app/ |
| Checkout | Payment requests for top-ups |
| Payment confirmations | Crediting top-ups after the required confirmations |
| Mobile rotation API | New IPs on dedicated 4G/5G ports |
Incident history
No incident has been recorded. The log starts on the day the service goes live; each incident will be listed with its date, the system affected, its duration and a short cause once known.
Why is there no uptime percentage?
Because we have not measured one yet. An honest uptime figure needs months of data, and we will not print a number we have not measured.
How do I tell an outage from a site that refuses me?
Most failures on East Asian sites are not outages. Three quick checks:
- Gateway: an IP-check service through the proxy answers with an IP in the country you asked for. If it does, the gateway works.
- Exit: a new session ID gives another exit IP. If the second one works, the first home connection probably went offline.
- Target: the site answers other visitors but not you. Then the site is limiting automated or foreign traffic, and its decision applies; see the acceptable use policy.
Only the first case is a JapanProxies incident, and it will appear in the history above.
How do I report a problem?
First test the gateway with an IP-check service, as in the setup guide: if that works, the problem is probably the target site. If it fails, email [email protected] (Email replies within 12 hours, 7 days a week) with the time and time zone, the country code, the tool and the exact error.
