What is a Hong Kong residential proxy used for?

Hong Kong is a small market with its own search habits: people search in Traditional Chinese and in English, and Google Hong Kong returns different pages for each. Local shops price in Hong Kong dollars, and price-comparison sites list local and imported versions of the same product.

A Hong Kong residential IP shows those local pages to teams working from elsewhere: marketing agencies tracking a client's rankings, brands checking how resellers price their products, and developers testing that a site serves Hong Kong visitors the right language and currency.

Which networks do Hong Kong residential IPs belong to?

Home broadband in Hong Kong comes from a handful of providers, among them HKT (Netvigator), HKBN, China Mobile Hong Kong and HGC, mostly over fibre. An exit IP belongs to the provider of the home behind it, and a WHOIS lookup shows which one.

You can prefer one provider by its ASN, such as -asn-9269 for HKBN, at no extra cost (availability varies); districts cannot be chosen. Hong Kong is a compact place, so a Hong Kong IP is already a local IP for most checks.

What can I check with a Hong Kong residential IP?

  • Search in two languages. Your Chinese and English pages on Google Hong Kong, and whether Google shows your zh-HK version to Hong Kong searchers.
  • Public prices. Your products on HKTVmall and the shop prices listed on Price.com.hk.
  • Ads and landing pages. Your campaigns in Hong Kong; see ad verification.
  • Localization. Prices in Hong Kong dollars, language switching and local legal notices on your own site.

How do I pay for Hong Kong proxies with USDT?

Choose USDT at checkout, pick the network (TRC-20 or ERC-20) and send the exact amount to the address shown. The top-up is credited once the network has confirmed the transfer; USDT on TRC-20 needs 20 confirmations. Every coin and network is listed in the payment guide.

In Hong Kong, virtual asset trading platforms must be licensed by the Securities and Futures Commission, which publishes the list of licensed platforms. Licensed platforms may restrict withdrawals to wallet addresses you have registered as your own. Follow your platform's rules: if it does not allow a payment to us, do not look for a way around them. The Stablecoins Ordinance, in force since 1 August 2025, licenses stablecoin issuers through the HKMA; we found no rule against paying with USDT or USDC; check what your platform allows.

Who can use Hong Kong IPs from JapanProxies?

Customers anywhere, except from places our acceptable use policy excludes: the service must not be used from mainland China, North Korea or countries under comprehensive sanctions. Our Hong Kong pages are in English for that reason. Use is limited to legitimate checks such as SEO, ad verification, public price checks and testing your own services. The service must not be used to reach content or services that the law of the user's location prohibits.

The law looks at what you do through the proxy. The Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) governs personal data, and section 161 of the Crimes Ordinance covers access to a computer with criminal or dishonest intent. Site terms still apply. This is general information, not legal advice; see our guide to proxy rules in East Asia.
