Quick answer

What is JapanProxies?

JapanProxies is a residential proxy provider for Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong: rotating residential IPs billed per GB, with traffic that never expires, paid in crypto with no KYC — no ID, no selfie, no documents. As of October 2026, 1 GB costs $2.62 and plans from 100 GB cost $0.50/GB. It is operated by ProxyGoat LLC, a US company whose team has been in the proxy business since 2019.

Product

Which countries does JapanProxies cover?

Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong, each with its own page. The service must not be used from mainland China, North Korea or sanctioned countries.

What is a residential proxy?

A proxy that sends your request out through the internet connection of a home. Websites see an IP address from a local internet provider, as for any person browsing at home. See residential proxies.

Can I choose a city, such as Tokyo or Seoul?

JapanProxies offers city targeting on every plan, in Japan, South Korea and Taiwan: Add a city to the username, such as -city-tokyo, -city-seoul or -city-taipei: you get an IP in that city when the pool has one online there. City availability varies. ASN targeting, such as -asn-4713 for NTT OCN, is included at no extra cost.

Can I choose the internet provider, such as NTT or HiNet?

JapanProxies does not offer provider selection. The exit IP belongs to the provider of the home behind it. A WHOIS lookup shows which one.

Do you sell static residential or ISP proxies?

JapanProxies does not sell static residential or ISP proxies. Sticky sessions keep one IP for up to 30 minutes, but no IP is reserved for you for months.

Do you sell dedicated 4G/5G ports?

We sell dedicated 4G/5G ports in Japan and South Korea (not in Taiwan or Hong Kong) for $5.93 per day or $89.25 per 30 days, with unlimited data under fair use. They are on the pricing page.

Is JapanProxies a shopping or forwarding service?

JapanProxies is not a shopping or forwarding service. Services that buy from Japanese stores and ship abroad are also called "Japan proxy services". JapanProxies is a network service: your own software connects through a residential IP in East Asia.

Prices and payment

How much does it cost?

As of October 2026: $2.62 for 1 GB, $4.95 for 5 GB, $6.60 for 10 GB, $26 for 50 GB, and $0.50/GB from 100 GB to 1 TB, paid from a $25 minimum top-up. All prices on the pricing page.

Is JapanProxies the cheapest?

JapanProxies does not claim to be the cheapest. Our dated price comparison is a sample of 8 providers; other providers sell for less at some volumes, and prices change often. We focus on no KYC, crypto payment, traffic that never expires and East Asian checks.

Which cryptocurrencies do you accept?

BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC: USDT on TRC-20 or ERC-20, USDC on ERC-20. No cards, PayPal, bank transfers, Alipay or WeChat Pay.

What is the minimum top-up?

$25. You can then buy any plan from your balance. Unused balance stays on your account and never expires, but it is not paid back, except where the law requires it.

Does traffic expire?

Residential traffic at JapanProxies never expires. Dedicated mobile ports run for the days you bought.

How long does a crypto payment take?

Your balance is credited once the payment is confirmed on the blockchain and matched to your order. Networks need different numbers of confirmations: SOL 1, BTC 2, ETH and ERC-20 tokens 12, USDT on TRC-20 20. See how payment works.

Can I get a refund?

Within 72 hours of purchase, a residential plan is credited back to your balance if you used less than 20% of its traffic and no more than 1 GB; a plan that does not work, and that support cannot fix within 24 hours, is credited back in full. Dedicated ports: within 24 hours of delivery (2 hours for a 1-day port), the port is credited back to your balance in full if it does not work and we cannot fix or replace it, or if it has carried less than 500 MB. A port we cannot deliver within 24 hours is credited back in full. If a port stops working later and support cannot fix it within 24 hours, the lost days are credited back. Top-ups are not paid back, except where the law requires it. See the refund policy.

Account and privacy

Do I need to verify my identity?

JapanProxies does not verify identities. No KYC — no ID, no selfie, no documents. Account-number login; email is optional.

What data do you keep?

We do not log the content of your requests, full URLs or page data. To handle abuse reports and billing disputes, we keep connection metadata (time, account, exit IP, target hostname, bytes) for up to 30 days, then delete it. We keep your account number, orders, top-up records and traffic totals while your account is open, and afterwards only as long as accounting rules require. We disclose records to authorities only when the law requires it. Our upstream network provider may keep its own logs under its own policy. Details in the privacy policy.

I lost my account number. What can I do?

If you added an email address, write to [email protected] from it. Without an email, a lost account number cannot be recovered, so store it in a password manager. We never ask for your account number by email or chat.

Is my traffic logged?

We do not log the content of your requests, full URLs or page data. To handle abuse reports and billing disputes, we keep connection metadata (time, account, exit IP, target hostname, bytes) for up to 30 days, then delete it. We keep your account number, orders, top-up records and traffic totals while your account is open, and afterwards only as long as accounting rules require. We disclose records to authorities only when the law requires it. Our upstream network provider may keep its own logs under its own policy. The privacy policy lists every item.

Setup and use

How do I connect?

Host gw.japanproxies.com, port 7777 for HTTP/HTTPS or 7778 for SOCKS5, username USERNAME-country-jp (or kr, tw, hk) and your password. See the setup guide.

How do sticky sessions work?

Add -session-ID-ttl-MINUTES to the username. The same session ID keeps the same IP for up to 30 minutes; the IP can change earlier if the residential device goes offline. A new ID usually gives a new IP.

Why does my Japanese IP show Tokyo, or another country?

IP location databases estimate locations, and some place Japanese home IPs at the provider's registered city. Compare two or three databases; see why a proxy shows the wrong location.

What can I use JapanProxies for?

Legitimate checks: search results, ad verification, public prices, localization testing and privacy. See the use cases and the acceptable use policy.

What is not allowed?

Fraud, spam, attacks, unauthorized access, collection of personal data without a legal basis, automated buying of tickets or limited stock, and anything illegal where you or the target are. Blocked for everyone: Banking, government and payment-portal sites, plus SMTP (email-sending) ports 25, 465 and 587.

We found no law in either country that bans proxies as such; the laws apply to what you do through them. See proxy rules in Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong. This is not legal advice.
