Quick answer
How do I verify my ads in Japan or South Korea from abroad?
Load the page where the ad should appear through a residential IP in the target country, signed out, and record what you see: the ad, its text and images, and the landing page after every redirect. JapanProxies sells home-broadband IPs in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong for these checks, from $2.62 for 1 GB, paid in crypto, no KYC. Use the ad platform's own preview tools first.
Each market has its own platforms next to Google Ads: Yahoo! JAPAN search ads through LY Corporation in Japan, Naver and Kakao ads in South Korea. A local residential IP lets you see all of them as a local user does.
Ad platforms decide what to show from the viewer's location, and the IP address is one of the main signals. A check from your office abroad shows your own country's ads, or none.
A residential IP in the country gives a check close to a local person's view. Under the Media Rating Council's invalid-traffic guidelines, known data-centre traffic is classed as general invalid traffic, so a check made from a server may not show the ad that a person at home would see.
Use a residential IP for what these tools do not show: the live page, with the ad in its real context, including redirects and competitor ads.
jp, kr, tw or hk.USERNAME-country-jp-session-ad01-ttl-30, so the page, the ad and the landing page load from one IP.For in-app ads shown only on mobile networks, a dedicated 4G/5G port in Japan or South Korea is available from $5.93 per day on the pricing page.

browser.close()A page with ads loaded in a browser often uses two to five megabytes. A weekly sample of a few dozen placements per market fits in 5 GB or 10 GB. One plan covers Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong, and traffic never expires.

Yes. Load the search or portal page through a Japanese or Korean residential IP and you see the ads those platforms show to local users. Use each platform's own reports for delivery figures.
JapanProxies offers city targeting on every plan: add -city-taipei or -city-seoul to the username; city availability varies. For an exact location, also use the location setting of the ad platform's preview tool.
For ads in mobile browsers, a residential IP with mobile emulation is usually enough. For ads shown only to users on mobile data, use a dedicated 4G/5G port in Japan or South Korea, from $5.93 per day.
