Quick answer

Bright Data facts from its documentation (checked 5 October 2026) and an archived copy of its residential pricing page dated 24 September 2026.
Bright Data's documentation says that Residential zones created after July 7, 2026 are available to verified companies, through a KYC review. Accounts that use a personal email address cannot be approved for those zones. Bright Data's other products, such as ISP and datacenter proxies, are not covered by that rule.
For freelancers, small agencies and individual developers who check Japanese or Korean sites, that means new Residential zones now go through a company KYC review.
We would rather you choose the right tool than switch for the wrong reason.
