## Price per GB at each volume

Each cell is the provider's rate band covering that volume, or the published plan nearest to it (noted); "No published tier" means no price is listed near that volume. Coupon codes are left out; sale prices shown on the pricing page are kept and marked "sale". A dash means the provider sells no plan of that size.

All prices in USD per GB, read on 13 October 2026. Bright Data's pricing page could not be read that day and is left out of the grid. SOAX prices countries by tier ($2.00 to $5.00 per GB on its Sandbox plan) and its pricing page did not say which tier Japan is in, so it is left out too.

## What does the table show?

- **Single GB.** Four providers sell exactly 1 GB: Webshare ($3.50 sale price), Decodo ($4.00 pay-as-you-go), IPRoyal ($7.35) and JapanProxies ($2.62). Others start at 5 GB (DataImpulse's one-time intro pack), 10 GB (Geonode) or 50 GB (Shifter).
- **Mid volumes.** At 10 to 100 GB, DataImpulse stays flat at $1.00 per GB, Geonode falls from $0.79 to $0.65 on monthly plans, and the large brands sit between $2.25 and $5.51.
- **Large volumes.** Databay Flex lists $0.55 per GB from a 25 GB minimum, valid 31 days, with country targeting only. At 1 TB, Geonode lists $0.50 on a monthly plan, and lower rates above 1 TB.
- **Japan is not a premium country for most.** All eight providers in the grid charge Japan the same rate as other countries. SOAX, left out of the grid, uses country tiers.

## Where does JapanProxies sit in this table?

JapanProxies charges $2.62 for 1 GB, $4.95 for 5 GB, $6.60 for 10 GB and $0.50/GB from 100 GB to 1 TB. Traffic never expires, and the same plan covers Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

We do not claim to be the cheapest at any volume. What we add is payment in BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC with no KYC, a $25 minimum top-up and pages written for East Asian checks. Our comparison is a dated sample of 8 providers, read on 13 October 2026; other providers sell for less at some volumes, and prices change often.

## What else changes the real price?

A per-GB price is only part of the cost. Before you compare, check:

- **Expiry.** Monthly plans (Decodo, Oxylabs, Webshare, Shifter) reset each billing period; DataImpulse, Geonode and IPRoyal say traffic does not expire; Databay Flex lasts 31 days.
- **Minimum spend.** From $3.50 (Webshare) to $50 (DataImpulse after its intro pack, Shifter).
- **Targeting.** City targeting in Japan is sold by several providers, including Oxylabs and JapanProxies (city availability varies), and Decodo adds ZIP; Databay Flex targets countries only.
- **KYC and payment.** Oxylabs asks every customer to answer a KYC questionnaire and does not accept crypto. Details for each provider are in the [East Asia proxy index](https://japanproxies.com/data/east-asia-proxy-price-index-2026/).

## Price comparison questions

### How much does a Japan residential proxy cost per GB?

On 13 October 2026, the three providers in our sample that sell a single GB listed $3.50 (sale) to $7.35 for it, and rates at 1 TB ran from $0.50 to $2.50 per GB; DataImpulse listed a flat $1.00/GB ($0.80 at 1 TB) and Databay Flex $0.55/GB from a 25 GB minimum, valid 31 days. Our comparison is a dated sample of 8 providers, read on 13 October 2026; other providers sell for less at some volumes, and prices change often. We do not claim to be the cheapest at any volume.

### Why do some providers sell no 1 GB plan?

Low-cost providers often set a minimum spend: 10 GB at Geonode, $50 at DataImpulse after its intro pack, 50 GB at Shifter. A 1 GB plan costs more per GB but lets you test a target before you commit.

### Are Japanese IPs more expensive than US IPs?

Not at most providers in this table, which charge the same rate for every country. SOAX is an exception: it groups countries into price tiers. Check the country list of any provider that uses tiers.

### How often is this comparison updated?

Prices were read on 13 October 2026, as shown at the top of the table. Prices change often, so check the provider's page before you buy.

### Why are some providers missing?

We include providers that 2026 Japan proxy guides cite and whose pricing page we could read on the day. Bright Data's page could not be read on 13 October 2026, and SOAX does not say which price tier Japan is in.

### Do these prices apply to Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong?

Yes, for every provider in this grid: each sells one residential price list for all countries. JapanProxies also charges the same price in Japan, [South Korea](https://japanproxies.com/residential-proxies/south-korea/), [Taiwan](https://japanproxies.com/residential-proxies/taiwan/) and [Hong Kong](https://japanproxies.com/residential-proxies/hong-kong/). SOAX, outside the grid, prices countries by tier.
